PDP HAS CALLED ON THE FEDRAL GOVERMENT TO REDUCE THE FUEL COST.
It has been a little bit tough and hard time for some Nigerians after the increase in the fuel cost and electricity tarrif, which has even lead to so many social media protest.
However, The People Democratic Party on Monday in Abuja has given out an advice to Fedral Goverment to immedaitely reduce the price of fuel to it normal price.
PDP gave the advice in a statement issued by its National Publicity Secetary, Mr kola Ologbondiyan on Monday in Abuja.
Mr kola said the Federal goverment should have considered the average Nigerians before placing an Hike on the Fuel price.
Adding that the attempt to increase the cost of fuel to N160 was unacceptable to Nigerians.
The PDP Public Secetary said '' The PDP totally rejects this attempt to hinge the increase in fuel price on preasumed removal of oil subsidy."
He described the increase in fuel cost as an illogical prediction on the increase in the price of commodity on a faulty comparison with cost in other country.
Mr kola said trying compare Nigeria with other country is wrong, where he noted that the purchasing power and a living wage of the average Nigerians in the last five years could not be compared with what was obtainable in those countries.
