WE WILL SUPPORT SEYI MAKIDE IN THE 2023 ELECTION ­ - OKE-OGUN TRADITIONAL RULERS.

The traditional Rulers in Oke-Ogun in Oyo State have given thier words to support Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo state due to the laudable developmental projects which he has embark on since he came into power in 2019.

 The Obas and Chiefs has made the pledge during a courtesy visit to the Commissioner for local Goverment and Chieftancy Matters in the State, Chief Bayo Lawal in his office Monday.

The team leader of the team of Obas in Oke-Ogun, Onigboho of igboho, Oba John Bolarinwa Olubiyi II, said the team came to welcome the new Commissioner for Local Goverment and Chieftaicy Matters.

Oba John Bolarinwa said '' We have come to familiarise and officialy welcome the commissioner to office and present germane issuse that concern humanity and devevlopment in the Oke-Ogun area of the state.

we salute the unbending democratic virtues of Governor Seyi Makinde which is reflected in his peopl-oriented polices, programmes and actions. He has done well enough for a successul first term, even though he is yet to finish the first two years.''

''We are using this occasion to declare our support for him when the when the next election comes in 2023, he has done well to be trusted with our mandate.''

He added that every developmental projects within the state, most especially Oke-ogun region would be an advantage to the Governor unending  effort.

Oba Abodunrin Kofoworola, The Are of Ago-Are added that they really appreciate the State Goverment effort but there are still some important project that still need the Goverment intervention, when he made mention of road network in the region.

Then the commissioner thanked the Obas for their visit and talked about the Are request, giving them assurance that the governor oyo state is really working towards reconstruction of the road in the region.
